A day at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg | Pauline & Alex

It was a sunny day in March when we organised a full day photo-shoot with one of our proud partners in the wedding industry, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg.

Our preparations began with our gorgeous couple, Pauline and Alex, in lavish flair with our talented make-up artist and hair stylist, Laure.

There were three ravishing ensembles featured on Pauline throughout the day. Two from the stunning bridal collection of Amarildine and a very unique haute-couture dress from designer Jérôme Blin, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is perfectly situated by Place de la Concorde, along the Seine and only a 5 minute walk to La Rive Gauche. Ideal for any event desiring to be in the heart of Paris.

Discovering the interior of the hotel during our photo-shoot was an enchanting experience. There were many cozy and remarkable nooks and the exceptionally decorated suites had plenty of space to capture some lovely images. We also couldn’t resist snapping some shots in the marbled bathroom, on the French balconies, which had an unparalleled view of Place de la Concorde surrounded by beautiful Parisian-Haussmannian architecture and in the dark corridors that provided us an opportunity to take some photos with more dramatic impressions. Last but not least, we completed our tour in the super chic and cozy hotel bar. With subdued lighting, smooth jazz music and some stellar cocktails, Pauline and Alex were truly immersed in the moment.

We wrapped up with the last photos taken at sunset, the golden-hour as we call it in the photography world. On the locked-down streets of Place de la Concorde, the light captivated us all alone in this iconic French location.
